What are they afraid of? If someone wants to debate the health care reform on it merits than I am sure most Democrats would reciprocate in kind. It does the Republicans no good to argue false hoods and lies with us as this just shows you cannot argue real facts.
If all we hear is “your an idiot” and other comments by the immature crowd of Yahoo’s on the Right , are we to expect a serious debate?
I think if those opponents used facts instead of lies like Death Squads and other crazy stuff we might be able to see your point. While we may not agree with it, it is better for opponents to be against something for the facts and not because they just do not like it or believe in the lies that others have made up about it,
So, are they any out there who have a factual problem with the program as it is currently written in Congress. One last thing, the answer of “we do not want our Tax dollars funding this or we do not want to pay for those who do not have insurance” is not something debatable , at least not here with me, save that for your Tea Baggin parties.
Why Can’t Some Conservatives Debate Health Care Reform With Actual Facts Instead Of Lies And Misinformation?

They have no actual facts, that’s why there is such a shortage of them. The debate isn’t about health care it is about preventing a Democratic President from getting a political victory. The value to Americans of a national health care policy is obvious, but they would rather let people die then acknowledge it.
It’s because Republicans usually have key phrases in their minds. Some are,
“Death Panels”
“Obama…Socialist”
“Because Rush said so”
“O’Reilly confirmed it”
“Tea Bags”
“Rebel against the liberal environment”
“You can never be wrong when you’re RIGHT”
Arguing with facts? I don’t think many Conservatives do that.
What is this panel of 9 that will be appointed by the President? http://edlabor.house.gov/documents/111/p…

Because they have no real leader to formulate their answers, or their questions. They’ve been rudderless since 2006. How do you expect them to find a common issue to challenge democrats with; they’re basically speaking individually.
Golly, I was thinking the same question about the liberals. There is no logical reasoning with the liberal mind set by using facts. Just a hoooo haaaa, let’s vote for that bill… who care about reading it!
There are so many bills floating around, I don’t know half the time of which one, they are referring to. Why doesn’t congress get one bill and let all the people read and vote on it. That’s fair no?
Because lies, misleading propaganda, fear mongering, etc. are the tools of their trade and in their blood.
Because that’s all they have. Myths, misinformation and scare-tactics.
I can’t help you if you choose not to listen
THAT SOUNDS LIKE COMMIE TALK TO ME!!!
Fear is a Helluva drug.
well you say we are lieing but yet when we ask for proof nothing is presented
Look Republicans are attempting to responsible to the American public.
Pony up Demos!
Your all GLAD that the Republicans, Seniors, Fox Cable News even Sarah Palin kicked up such a commotion that Nasty Polesi had to stop in her tracks.
Can even you have justified racing through any crazy piece of pork laden crap bill that nobody even read let alone had time to discussed.
Some kind of health care reform will probably get voted on but at least this way it has some chance of being good for the country.
The key word in your question is “some”
There are some liberals that can’t debate health care reform without lies too.
If you are looking for just ONE factual problem, here:
Our current system is expensive, it costs a lot and doesn’t supply care to all americans. Adding 50 Million new patients will so dramatically overload the doctors in the system it will not work as well as it does now. And all I hear from the left is that it doesn’t work well enough as it is.
And you can’t just “hire” a bunch of new doctors. There is already a doctor shortage, No one is avoiding med school because there weren’t doctor jobs out there now.
BO’s plan does not address this major problem it would create.
Just plain American tried to say something, I didn’t look up his link. But like all the others, it is most likely exaggerated or an outright lie. The conservatives cannot answer a question, on here or in real life. My cousin came over today and John Sandford was on MSNBC and I asked her if she thought he should resign.. Her answer was “What about Clinton?” See what I mean? I told her we can talk about Clinton, but answer my question. She changed the subject. They are all the same.
When the right wing media does present facts, you say it’s lies. They put Obama on the TV recording him saying something stupid, and you say, well he didn’t mean it like that. You are a typical liberal, you stated it in your question that you don’t want to hear that we with jobs don’t want to pay for it and the government can’t afford it. There is a fact and the main fact right there in front of you. Read your own freaking question! What you’re really asking is, “can somebody give me some more of the liberal bull**** that I love to buy into because I’m now realizing how out numbered we are by the conservatives (which is very true recent fact) and the truth is scaring me.” Move to Canada or the UK, you’ll make lots of friends there. We don’t debate with you because it’s like arguing with a 2 year old. True Liberals are ignorant to facts! The facts of what true Americans want!
Why cant you realize there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans.

A Family of three with and income of 70,000 dollars will pay about 7700 a year. That is the 11% after taxes. That doesn’t include co-pay which will be 30% (that is the last percentage–what the plan will pay).
Notice that even single individuals will pay the same amount as families.
For instance, if you and your family make 100,000 a year. You will be expected to pay 11,000 a year with a 30% co-pay.
Wanna talk about any other facts? Voting down doesn’t make a fact not true. Read the bill! Its all right there telling you exactly what is covered and what isn’t and how much they will take from you. It isn’t free or afforadable.
In case you don’t know FPL is federal poverty level.
Its NOT a lie, the table is right there in the BILL people read it, god, how can you sit there and say we don’t present facts. Its more like you don’t want to listen to them.
The table is caculated by how high above the federal poverty level you are.
