How Is Obama Going To Pay For Universal Health Care?

Better yet has anyone consider how much it is going to cost us?
Consider this:
1) take your pay stub and look at deduction for health care.
2) Companies about on average pick up 75% so take that amount times 3.
3) Factor in government waste
$1 of tax money for welfare about 10 cents makes it to the welfare mom.
4) take that amount in step 3 times 10 and that is going to be YOUR tax bill to get the same health benefit you are now receiving.
Someone is going too have to pay for it and are we really ready for the government of all people to be trusted?
This is just one program Obama wants to start up and he has many more.
So explain to me how what he wants to do is not going to raise my taxes.

By raising your taxes. He has no more intention of granting the middle class a tax cut than Bill Clinton did in 1992. He promised it all during the campaign then said it was not possible even before he took office, then signed the largest tax increase in history into effect. Obama will not only raise your taxes, he is letting the tax cuts lapse thus going back to 1994 levels. All Americans who work and earn an income will see their take home pay go WAY down if this clown is elected.

  2. Rick31 says:

Easy….he said he is going to put the bill on those rich fat-cats that get out of paying taxes through loopholes and such. Nevermind that he hasn’t addressed those loopholes so these rich fat-cats aren’t going to pay his program’s taxes either….leaving the rest of us to pay the bill.

I think it’s funny how so many of the Obama voters on Yahoo Answers respond to questions like this.
90% of them don’t even know why they’re voting for this guy. They are hypnotized by all of his empty promises (you know… “free” healthcare).
See for yourself- Not only on this question but most others like this one, they’re responses have nothing to do with the subject but just state “MicCane SUXXXXX!!!!!!! u need to vote 4 obama 08!!!!!!!!!!”
What a bunch of illiterate dummies.

  4. emp says:

You, I and everyone who is paying for Irag war because when Obama comes to power there will be no war to kill people and to waste our money on. The money will go to health care and other things to help our nation. If India a much poorer country than US can provide health care USA can. We just need to manage our money better.

  5. cutepup says:

    Well my misguided Republican friend…
Have a think about this. Where is Bush spending an absolute fortune on something that really isn’t necessary? Take that money and redistribute it to healthcare.

  6. orkneymi says:

He is going to tax the heck out of us or mandate that employers pay for it. Of course when you lose your job because of this he plans more government to get you a job.

The same way as Clinton did – he will propose it, Congress will vote it down. End of problem but at least people appreciate that he tried to do something.

How is McCain going to keep this stupid war going?

  24. KayJay says:

First off, nobody is talking about HEALTH CARE. The issue is HEALTH INSURANCE. The more people in a HEALTH INSURANCE plan, the lower the cost per person. A universal HEALTH INSURANCE plan would roll all of the various governemt plans that now exist into one. Medicare, Medicade, the Indian Health Service, part of the VA and other local and state plans. The savings in overhead would be massive. Add in that there would be no profit component the savings would be even greater. Given that we pay for all of these programs now the effect on taxes would either be neutral or the cost would be reduced. There will still be co-pays and deductables, but overall per family there would be a savings…particularly if you’re one of the families that now have no insurance. I can understand an argument against HEALTH CARE, but there is no real argument against HEALTH INSURANCE. If there is, I’d like to hear it.

  25. Noah H says:

It doesn’t matter if our taxes are raised
All that matters are two things
    1) Whether or not at the end of the year our combined expenses between health care and taxes are less or more than an individual or a company are paying now
2)Whether or not at the end of the year doctors are making more or less than are making now.
As you know there is a huge difference between what you make and what you keep and if the US government would pick up the cost of a doctor’s malpractice insurance and then cap the ridiculous awards that made guys like John Edwards rich ,it would go along way to bringing the doctors on board.
