Do you have to study nursing first or can you just study midwifery, in universities in the usa and uk as i haven’t decided which country i would like to study in? Thanks xx

In the US, you must first get your BSN (bachelor’s degree in nursing) which takes 4 years then you must go to graduate school and get an MSN specializing in nurse midwifery which takes 2 years.
I understand in the uk, you can just go straight in the midwiferey course (in the universities which do it).
And they are great courses over here as i was between midwiferey and childrens nursing. (only this year deciding myself- and they are very well done)
