When Is Hillary Going To Stop Running Against George Bush?

All she talks about is the failings of this administration. We know all about that. What is she going to do to make my life better. More taxes will not help me. Soft on crime will not help me. Her immigration ideas will not help me. Her government controlled health care programs will definatly not help me. The whole democrat partys support of the ACLU is a joke. I do believe that gays should have the SAME rights as me, not more. My guns ARE registered. So why should I vote for her, or Barack? They have no idea how to get us out of Iraq.
Ya I know Bush sucks, so don’t come back at me with that. Try to be creative.
Thanks

She is stubborn and won’t stop.
She thinks everything that I find good is wrong. The US is doing just fine where it is. Unemployment rate is very low, taxes are reasonable, crime is dropping in the triangle area of North carolina(where I live), & I agree with you on her plans. None of it will affect me at all. I don’t need healthcare or more taxes.
I don’t know if she will try to improve the growing population and try to avoid overcrowding. If immigrants overpopulate the US, we will be piled up on eachother like they are in Australia.
I don’t own a gun, I am straight, & I don’t want to surrender from the war and show everyone in the world that we are cowards.
Hillary sounds more like a communist to me. She wants to take our money from us.

  2. I hate Hillary Clinton says:

She’s attacking the face of the Republican Party, and it’s not a bad tactic. I’m speaking strictly from an operational point of view. Why did Republicans lose the midterms? Because the majority of the country was (and is) angry with George Bush and the neocon agenda. Has that changed? Nope, it’s just gotten worse since then. She’ll get around to going after the Republican candidates, as soon as we can figure out who’s going to be the likely candidate, right now their field is a mess and their favorite candidate is “None of the Above.”
Obviously, you are not given to the Democratic side of things, since everything you mention are the complaints of Republicans. Why then would you vote for any Democrat at all? Just curious. And that is b.s. about her not having a plan for Iraq, she’s had a plan for a long time now and has spoken at length about it. But in order to know that, one must pay attention.

She can’t stop running “against Bush” because Democrats never look for solutions, they just demagogue problems…in their minds, anything is “better than Bush” and so they will vote for her like lemmings.

  4. The Thing says:

I agree, and I think her advisers are making a serious mistake here. George Wya is a lame duck and cannot run as president again. She should be targeting the Republican party and the platform that clearly explains what they stand for.
If she doesn’t watch out, she could very well win the presidency, but end up with a Republican Congress. In that case of course nothing will get done.

  5. Mezmarel says:

She will stop running against Bush once she has to give her concession speech on Nov 5 2008. :)

  6. Calvin says:

Bush’s approval rating is really low, hence it makes some sense to run as the anti-Bush. Quite frankly, this election cycle has started way too early and I think laying out definite plans about Iraq or anything else is premature when there is still a year and a half to go under the current president. Heck, maybe we will be out of Iraq by then.

  7. Brian A says:

All I can say to that is ditto…

  8. mac says:

Just more pandering from a clueless woman.

  9. hemihead says:

Since Karl Rove is still working for bush until 8/31 why has he taken several pot shots at Mrs. Clinton? Is he already starting his after bush job

  10. firewome says:

Its the primaries! What to do now is appear stronger than the sitting president, then when you advance to the actual election you attack the opposing party.
Why waste the time and money on each person in the running? That would be senseless.
To come out ahead in the US you have to be better than what is there at the time.
To not compare her differences in Bushy how does she give people the answers on how she will change what’s happening with his choice in policy?
The Iraq thing, should not be public. How are we to win if opposing forces know our every move thanks to the media?
That works for both sides. They need to shut it on that!

  11. Nurse Winchester says:

Bush is extremely low in the polls and an easy target. You can bash Bush all you want and people love it. Rather than look to the future bring up the past and score easy points. If you bash McCain for example, then you will turn some people off because of his long record for our country. While Bush, no body cares.

  12. Chris says:

You hit it head on. I wish I had a better answer for you. The best I can come up with is that she is hoping that by making herself out as the Anti Bush all those who are hating on him will vote for her simply because she agrees with them. Its all about saying what the people want to hear. Speaking about the issues and finding solutions takes thought and you run the risk of offending people. Bashing the current administration like a large portion of other people are doing takes no thought and you are sure not to offend someone by agreeing with them. Those who would vote for her because she is using this strategy are the ones who are too lazy or ignorant to look past the obvious and think through the issues and look for solutions.

  13. Hockeyfa says:

Yes, it needs intelligence to come up with constructive plans. So the most stupid people always see the fault of an opponent (even if he does not run anymore). H. Clinton surely qualifies for an award in stupidity.

  14. Nicolas says:

The answer is remarkably simple. She will stop running against George Bush on the first Wednesday of November, 2008.

  15. exgrunt says:

She is not running against GWB this year, because W is out after he completes his term he is not eligible to run again.
For a fresh candidate take a look at Bill Richardson Governor of New Mexico, and former cabinet member. I live in NM and he has done a great job, and while governor has negotiated with foreign countries for the release of Americans held hostage. He has very good foreign diplomatic skills.
