Looking for a place to get Phlebotomy training and CNA Training in Colorado Springs?
I have been told that there is a few nursing homes in Colorado Springs that will train you as a CNA but unsure which ones. Also I have been told that there is a 2-5 day Phlebotomy course in the area but again no idea where to look. Any ideas would be great. Thank you in advance.
Contact your Colorade state agency that issues nursing certification and they will be able to tell you.
Start at your local nursing homes they are always looking for help and if they can’t they can direct you. ask for the director of nursing that should be a little help. If you can’t get anything from telephone go there in person.. Good luck..
I’d contact a few local nursing homes - even go in and introduce yourself and ask the questions - you will seem genuine and eager - and find out if they are hiring and apply -
while there you can get a feel if it’s a place you’d want to work at anyway - (Staff seems really great, not so great).
Try here - you may have to type in your zip or town.
Good Luck -http://education-portal.com/iv_certifica…http://www.collegebound.net/nursing-scho…http://www.medicalassistants.info/school…http://www.pmi.edu/careers/phlebotomy_te…
This is the question I always wanted to ask someone and I guess that you are the prize winner! Now the course that you want to take is CNA and the programs usually run from 9-12 months. Now here the question, a LPN the course goes from 12 to 14 months depending on the state. Now a CNA gets a appr. a half of what a LPN gets and what I heard they make $25. and up. Now they are found in any of the colleges and some hospitals. Now for 3-6 months you start off at double the CNA position, you will be supervised by the LPN and RN. Basically the programs is as intense as a LPN. Why would you want a CNA position. To be a phlebotomy, go to any college or sometime the hospital will give you instructions. Oh yea I am a LPN now retired.
i need 10 points…
